Hello Friends,
 

After last year first fly fishing program to Campeche for baby Tarpon I would like to invite you again to join me for another amazing fishing trip to Campeche for Baby Tarpon and have a good time like we did last year.
 

Captain Alejandro Hernandez has put together a very nice program, which include fly tying seminar whit tops Regional Fly Tyers so that we can share techniques and flies patterns whit them and a tour to the Mayan Ruins. The program this year will be in August, moon will be perfect and the tide will be high. Alejandro was very kind to invite me again to participate in this program.
 

Often non-stop and exciting Baby Tarpon action along with cruising Snook in the shallows are found along the 100 kilometers plus mangroves shore line. 8-weight rod is the norm, floating fly line is all you need and remember you will be casting in to the mangroves so my recommendation to you is have flies with weed guards, you will need them!
 

Many of you know by now know I have fish in Campeche for many years and I have only good things say about it. The hospitality of the CAMPECHANOS and all my friends in town makes me feels I know them for a very long time. From the time you arrive to the time you leave you will not have to worry about a thing!
 

Campeche is not only the capital of Baby Tarpon but also an historical and archeological town for your non-fishing companions and the world-famous Mayan Ruins, which is a must to explore.
 

We will experience dining into the best and traditional restaurant in town. Fish is fresh as it can be simply because Campeche is a fishing town and the local meat is very flavorful.

What you need to bring with you is yours tying tools; I will be conducting that program along with my friends. Captain Alejandro will have flies for you to fish for Baby Tarpon.

August 14^th: Early morning fishing 6am-1pm. Afternoon siesta, 5pm fly tying seminar with Enrico and Regional Tyers Anglers, fallows by dinner. 

August 15^th: Early morning fishing 6am-1pm. Trip to the Mayan ruins and city tour. No afternoon activity.
