Jake Ruthven is a sixteen year old fly fisherman that resides in the colorful state of Colorado.  He has been fly fishing and tying for nearly eight years, and is constantly exploring new reaches of the sport.  Being from Colorado, he is surrounded by a multitude of extravagant trout streams, though he calls the Cache la Poudre River his home water.  Jake is a guide on the Poudre and Big Thompson Rivers, constantly trying his best to teach clients about our continually growing sport.  Aside from trout, he especially loves pursuing warmwater species such as carp, and multiple species of Bass.  When not fishing, Jake can be found in the halls of his highschool, where he has made the dean's list for outstanding grades each semester.  Jake also runs a blog that covers everything from tying videos to fishing tips and tricks.

Jason Haddix is an avid fly tier and fisherman, who is now residing in Wellington, Colorado. Growing up at a young age tying flies for shops and guides allowed him to become very well versed in many different styles and techniques. He is passionate about the quality of the flies he turns out for others and this obession with perfection carries over into his own personal patterns and techniques. Jason also spends a great deal of time doing tying demos and helping to teach other people a few of the skills he has learned along the way as a commercial tier. Afer all there is something to be said for cranking out thousands of flies a year.
   When not behind the vise churning out patterns, he can be found chasing the spooky little brown trout of his home waters, the Cache La Poudre river. His other intrests include bass, pike, carp, musky and just about anything that swims.
   He belongs to several pro teams, such as Peak vises, Daiichi hooks, EP flies, Rite bobbins, Riplips fishing and a few others. At some point in the near future you can exoect to see his new website up and running called waters edge fly fishing and hopefuly some writing projects as well.

I HAVE BEEN TYING FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS AND MOST OF IT HAS BEEN SPENT PRODUCING FLIES FOR GUIDES AND SHOPS.

Robert Craig lives in Gainesville, Florida home of the University of Florida. He works in a senior administrative position in the Alachua County Public School System, periodically teaches and lectures on specific topics at Santa Fe College and the University of Florida, and fishes extensively on both of Florida's coasts especially in the Misquito Lagoon and Everglades National Park. Robert holds a doctoral degree in school administration and curriculum and instruction.
Teaching, learning and sharing runs to his core.  As such Robert has taught numerous classes and offered seminars on rigging, casting, fly tying and stalking fish.  His venture, McMeekin Fly Fishing Services has helped teach a number of folks in the particulars of fly fishing. He is a past president and vice president of the North Florida Fly Fishers  His non fiction and fiction articles and stories have appeared in regional publications.
Robert has been given numerous opportunities to showcase fly tying.  He has held all day seminars and given tying demonstrations at Brasington's Outdoor Outfitters, The Tackel Box, The Salty Feather, Santa Fe College, the Florida Museum of Natural History,  with the First Coast Fly Fishers and the North Florida Fly Fishers.  Dr. Craig has tied commercial flies for The Salty Feather, Black Fly Outfitters, Brasington's Outdoor Outfitters, The Sea Hag Marina and for Captains Chuck Sleeper in St. Augustine and Tommy Thompson in the Big Bend area.  He has given numerous private lessons as well.
